Almost Spring Fashion Finds

Hello everyone! After a long-ass winter, the sun is shining and I feel like I can actually go out of the house! Let's just hope that I didn't jinx myself by saying that. But recently, I've been really into re-vamping my wardrobe because I've been in a fashion rut. So, that means shopping, hehe. So here's some of the gems that I found!

I was dead-set in getting a watch with a map in-bedded onto the face from Urban Outfitters, but I found one that looks exactly the same at Target for half the price! I was sooo happy when I found it and said screw it, I'm just getting it, even though I wasn't supposed to be spending money at the moment. Who needs gas when you could have a gorgeous watch, right? But no, I just didn't spend any money the next week so it evened out. I'm good with my money, I swear!

Forever21 has been on point lately because I found this adorable, micro-floral crop top on this bright red base. I think that once I get darker in the summer, this will look a whole lot better but it's still really cute. Even though it's still a little chilly where I live, I can just pair this with a slouch cream cardigan (which is actually in the photo below, haha) and it can still work. Also from Forever21, I found some high-waisted jeans! I hate jean shopping, but these fit great and they weren't ridiculously expensive. I got mine in a nice indigo color that goes with everything.

Okay, this cardigan has saved my winter wardrobe because it can make every outfit look cozy and chic. It's from Kohl's, which isn't a store that I go into very often but I was returning a gift and I got this instead and I wear it almost everyday! I love it. And this blue floral crop top is thrifted, but it's by Forever21. And as for the crystal necklace is actually from my mom, who got it at a touristy shop in Washington about 20 years ago. So it's been through the works a few times but it's still looks fantastic.

Aaand, I bought the same cardigan in a different color, because that's how much I love it! Remember in my Yesstyle Haul I said that I've been obsessed with lace tank tops? Well, I found this one at Target wedged into one of the sale racks for only about $10. I liked how there is a portion at the bottom where the eyelets in lace shows through. It looks very interesting if you wear bottoms and it makes it look kind of like a crop top without actually being a crop top. You know what I mean?

What do you guys like to wear in spring? What should I keep a look out for? See you next time! XD

CURRENT FAVORITES!

Hey guys! I thought I would update you on some products I've been liking lately since I don't really do regular favorite posts. I'm a creature of habit and I know what I like and I usually stick to it. But every season or so, I like to switch out everything from my foundation to my lippies, just to keep things interesting. I even added a small life favorite, too. So let's get to it!

Face: I really needed a new primer and I was tempted to go back to a silicone based formula, but I learned that I just don't like that feeling on my skin. This Rimmel Fix & Perfect primer feels like a moisturizer and it doesn't have that heavy sensation under my makeup. It's not as good at blurring your pores, but it does feel like it's prolonging the life of my makeup. So if you have dry skin or don't like silicone, I would suggest this one. And it's cheap, too! I couldn't resist buying Maybelline's new Matte + Poreless foundation because I'm an oily girl and it's hard to find a good drugstore foundation that won't break down through the day. But let me tell you, this stuff lasts! It has a liquidy consistency so it feels light on my skin (can you tell that I like light makeup? haha). The coverage is really good and I'm tempted to buy another color and use it during the warmer months as well.

Lippies: In my mind, it' spring. So, I've brought back my MAC Sunny Seoul lipstick. It's my favorite pink color that will just brighten up your face and give you a fun, flirty look. Plus, the name is adorable. And my new love, I finally bought one of the Dear My Jelly Lips by Etude House and my shade is in JPK004. This formula is super glossy and it just melts when it comes in contact with your skin, which makes it very comfortable to wear and moisturizing. I love a good orange lip so I've been reaching for this a lot.

Tools: Okay, kind of late on this one, but I got myself a Beauty Blender! I hate that this magical little sponge is so good, because it's $20. My parents would shake their heads at me if they found out I paid $20 for a stupid sponge. I swear, there must be a fairy putting enchantments on these things before they ship them out to Sephora because I have not gotten a bad application since I've been using this. Good job creators of the Beauty Blender, you've got me hooked.

Life Bits: You guys might be thinking, what is that pom-pom thing in the photo? Well, recently, I've been obsessed with a Taiwanese drama called Dear Mom. Ahh, you guys, it's so good I can't even talk about it. It's about four sisters and their adventures through life. They go through divorce, cheating, secrets, school, work, and of course, love and cute boys. One of the sisters has this homemade key chain of a broccoli with a pom-pom for the top and it was just so adorable that I had to make one for myself. That's how obsessed I am with this drama. If you have sisters or like romantic dramas, you should really watch this.

There you have it! Let me know some of your recent favorites! See you next time! XD

Yesstyle.com Haul and Review

Hello everyone! Yes, I'm still alive, I just had to take a break for a while. But I'm back with a fashion (sorta?) post! Yesstyle has been one of those online stores that I have been looking at for years and never bought anything from. Well, until now.

Yesstyle is always having sales going on and they were offering a discount code for first time users so I got both of these shirts for around $25, which ain't bad at all. Both of my purchases are my typical style. Lately I've been into plaid flannel-type shirts and lace tank tops, but these had enough variation that made me buy them. The paneled plaid shirt is no longer available, and the lace tank top is here. One of the bad things about Yesstyle is that they filter out certain items really quickly. So, if you want something, you have to buy it right away because it won't stay long. If you guys need a size reference, both of these were one size and I am typically a size XS/S in the US.

I loove that free shipping is offered to the US if you spend $25, most websites require $50 for free shipping and I'm a student, I don't have $50 to spend willy-nilly. School isn't going to pay its self. They offer a tracking number so you know where your order is and when it's going to arrive at your door. I love that because I'm one of those people who obsessively tracks their order, especially if it's something that I've been wanting for a while. And since they ship from Hong Kong, I got my package in a little over a week.

The plaid panels on this shirt is an interesting detail that I thought would be fun to just chuck on when you don't want to think about your outfit. It fits very loosely so I tried to counteract that by tucking it in a little bit in the front and it's pretty cute that way. I'm probably going to wear this with long necklaces layered together.

I've been super into boho/hippie fashion lately and I've been buying lace shirts left and right. But this one is different because of the scalloped v-neck and the larger detailing. This is the kind of lace with thicker threads so I don't feel like it's going to rip on me. Again, this fits looser than what I would like but this is super pretty and flowy. I like to pair lace shirts with leather jackets for some contrast or a slouchy cardigan for a more cute look. And since this one is sheer, it will be fun playing with different color tank tops under it. Oh! *insert realization here* this would be a super cute beach cover up! Maybe with some short-shorts? I just really want summer. . .

Do you guys like fashion posts or makeup posts? Lately, I've been cutting down on the makeup and focusing on the fashion. I've come to the point where I am happy with my makeup collection, but that can always change once I get back into the blogging game, haha. See you next time!
