That I-Hit-Pan Feeling!

Hello everyone! You know that feeling of satisfaction when you hit pan? Yeah, I love that feeling. I've been trying to cut back on buying new makeup and using up what I already have. When you use a product, you hit pan. That's just the way it is. ;D

LOreal 24H Infallible Laquer Liner in Bronze Bronze: I used this stuff to death. I think I have a few uses left but it's basically dead. This liner does not smudge, flake, or fade and it was the only gel liner I used. But, it's time for a new one.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer: You guys know I love this bronzer. It's great, I recommend it to everyone, and I've finally hit pan! Recently, I've even been using it as an eye shadow to define and contour my eyes. Especially if I'm doing a cat eye, I will use this to reshape my eye to make then look less round and more angled. It's great for contouring, blah blah blah. I've already talked about this so much I'm pretty sure you guys are sick of hearing about it. But still! It's a great bronzer.

Etude House Shini Star Lip Balm in Grapefruit: I remember back in the early days of my blog. (*shutters*) This was my first lip color! Back when I was a little nube at makeup. . .  But, back then I was really into SHINee and Korean makeup. This is a great orange lip balm for a sheer wash of color. These lip balms were limited edition so this might not be available anymore. :(

Maybelline Color 24hr Color Tattoo in Barely Branded: This is great as an eye shadow base! It keeps my shadows in place and it doesn't crease. This was the only shade that I had until this week when I finally bit the bullet and bought the Bad to the Bronze shade. Why did I wait so long?! It's gorgeous!

So those are all the products I've hit pan on recently! What have you hit pan on? See you next time! XD

Benefit Gimme Brow

Hello everyone! I've been using this product for a loong time (a few months, I mean) and I still have not reviewed it! What? Bad blogger alert. Oh well, here it is now!

What makes this different from other brow gels is that the formula has fibers in it to make your brows look thicker as well as fill them in and give them color.

The brush is really small so you can have more control. On the front part of my brows, I like to hold it horizontally so I don't use too much product. For the tail, I use the tip of the brush vertically to make it darker.

The Gimme Brow does a really good job of giving my brows volume and color, but I need more to get them to look the way I like. Usually I use a lighter brow pencil to get the shape that I like, and then go in with the Gimme Brow to give more demention and make them bolder and darker. If you have darker brows, then this is probably all you need. But since I am building from basically nothing, I need a little more work.

The color I got was light/medium, and I think it can work for a lot of hair colors because it is a very nuetral taupe color. Some people say that it's too dark for me, but I don't really care because I like the look of darker brows.

What I suggest is to use a concealer around the edges of your brows to clean them up a bit because it can look a bit messy at times.

Overall: I really like this, but I'm still looking for my perfect brow routine. If you guys have any suggestions, let me know. See you next time!

June Ipsy 2014!

Hello everybody! This is my second Ipsy bag and I was really excited for this month because I heard some rumors about what was in the bag. But I have a story to tell about this month's bag that I am sad to say, it did not have a good ending.

As always when I see Ipsy bags, the makeup pouch is super cute! This month it was designed by Rebecca Minkoff. Quite honestly, this is probably going to be my only Rebecca Minkoff bag, haha.

1. Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray: I love beach sprays and I've already tried this out and I really like it! It's not crunchy and hard, and it smells like sun tan lotion. I might save this bottle for travel and get the full sized. I'm tempted. ;D
2. NYX Butter Gloss in Eclair: I already own this gloss in this exact shade. I love these glosses and if I didn't already have this, then I would be very excited. Great product, but this will be going to be going to my sister.
3. Jesse's Girl Liquid Eyeliner: Okay, story time. I needed a new liquid eyeliner, but this is terrible! The second I opened this, eyeliner exploded all over me! You can see in the picture that there is smudges in the packaging. It's soupy, watery, and messy. I still have some stains on my hands and arms. If you get this, do yourself a favor. Don't even open it and through it in the trash!
4. Be a Bombshell Lash Out Mascara: This is a full sized mascara, and when I did some research, it was $15. I paid $10 for this entire bag. I'm not a fan of the formula on first impressions but I can't complain about the value.
5. Olehenriksen Truth To Go Wipes: Sooo many people talk about these! I was super excited to get this because it will be perfect for when I go to Boston next month. Now I don't have to pack my makeup remover and I get to see what all the buzz is about.

Overall: It would've been a great bag if it wasn't for that evil eyeliner! It made me look like a diseased dalmatian. Needless to say, I will not be getting any Jesse's Girl products in the future. C'mon Ipsy, don't send me explosive products. I love all the other products, though!

Did you guys experience the same thing? If you got a different eyeliner, you're lucky!

NEW DRUGSTORE MASCARAS: L'Oreal Miss Manga & Maybelline Pumped Up Collosal

Hey guys! I have a confession to tell you, I have a problem when it comes to mascaras. I have way too many for my own good (I will probably give some out before they go bad so someone can use them). Right when I need to save money, new collections come out. And you guys, I have been waiting for the Miss Manga mascara to come out forever! If you read manga like me, then it is a must have, you don't even care if it's going to be a crappy formula. I told my friend about it who only wears hardly any makeup about it and she said she needed it because of the name. But anyway, let's get onto the reviews!

L'Oreal Miss Manga: For packaging, the Miss Manga wins. It's super cute and totally towers over the Maybelline one. As for the forumula, I did see that it gave me more volume in my lashes. But the color was a little grey. It does a good job of separating and defining my lashes, but it can get clumpy if you're not careful. When I was looking at the display, I did not see a waterproof formula anywhere. Which is sad because if you know me, then you know that I only buy waterproof. But luckily, this did not smudge on me or flake off my lashes. But sadly, it does not hold a curl. If you like dry formulas, then you will really like this. It definitely builds up the thickness of your lashes and gives you more volume.

Maybelline Pumped Up Colossal: Okay, Maybelline has a ton of mascaras and it's hard to keep track of them all. But this one stands out a little more to me because it just gives the exact look I want for my lashes. As you can see in the picture, the color of the Maybelline mascara is more bold and noticeable. This is the brown color and it's still more bold than the L'Oreal one. The brush really defines your lashes and makes then stand out more. The formula is more on the wetter side. And guess what? It's waterproof! No smudges! It does not hold a curl for the entire day, but it does hold better than the L'Oreal.

Can you tell which one I like better? ;D I really wanted to like the L'Oreal Miss Manga, but I guess I just prefer wet mascaras to dry. See you next time! ^_^

Let's Catch Up: A Haul, Nose Piercing, & Update!

Hello everyone! It feels like I haven't actually talked to you guys in a while. For the last few posts, it's just been product reviews. That gets boring, so I have a little something different for you! I'll let you know all the things I've been picking up here and there and some things that happened recently. So sit back with a cup of coffee or tea because this is going to be a long one!;D

I've been trying to save money because I'm going to Boston in July to see my sister, so this haul is over a couple month's worth of shopping. So far, I've been pretty good about it. There are a lot more clothes than usual because I've been trying to get more into fashion. If you would like to see more fashion posts, let me know and I will be glad to do those!

-Demin vest from Target
-Cream tank top from Khols
-Train insane or remain the same tank top from Blogilates website.

-Black Velvet cut-out booties from Target

I've mentioned that I do the Blogilates workouts, and I know some of you do them, too! I definitely suggest buying some of her clothing because they're cute and feel super comfortable while working out!

Other than shopping, school is almost done! Yay! But that means finals. :/ There's been a ton of papers, projects, and presentations I've been preparing for. During study breaks I've been trying to work out. Having cute workout clothes really help motivate me, so maybe this haul has done me some good!

Summer is here and I am getting into self-tanning for the first time. Hopefully I won't turn orange! But I am a firm believer in SPF so fake tans are the only tans I'm ever going to have.

One thing that really seemed to shock people is that I got my nose pierced. I got it done about 2 weeks ago and I still really like it. It's a little hard to see in the picture but that's because it's really tiny. I'm planning on doing a post on my whole experience once it's all healed so I can give tips on the after care and the healing process. So if you're interested in that, keep your eyes peeled! I've always thought nose piercings looked great ever since middle school. Ever since I got it done, I feel like I don't have to wear as much makeup. It just looks better when your makeup is on the natural side.

So I am not going to be doing any more shopping for a long time. We'll see how I do. Hopefully I can have more self control and only buy the necesseties. See you guys next time! XD
