July Ipsy 2014!

Hello everyone! This was probably the fastest post I've ever photohraphed because I had a flight to catch and my ipsy bag came at the last minute. So if the quality isn't that great that is why. But I really wanted to get a post up while I was away.

I must say, the bag was super cute this month. It actually went to my sister because I thought she would appreciate it more since she loooves hot pink.

1. Bare Minerals 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Creme Eyeshadow Broad Sepctrum SPF15 in Divine Wine: This sample is really tiny, but it is a high end brand so it's not a problem. I just wish I got a different color. I mean, it's a good crease color, I was hoping for an all over the lid kind of shade.
2. Pur-lisse pur-protect essential daily moisturizer SPF 30: Another basic item. I would be kind of bummed but I really needed a moisturizer to bring onto the plane. I got a sunscreen in another month's bag, too. So it's meh.
3. POP Beauty Sunkissed Bronzer: Yay, bronzer! And a glowy one, too. All of my bronzers are matte and I was eventually going to buy a glowy one but now I don't have to. The shade isn't too orange for my skintone.
4. Elizabeth Moss Tint & Sass Lip & Cheek Stain: I don't own any tints like this and they're trendy right now. I haven't had time to test it out yet so I will have to get back to you!
5. Faith Aromatherapy Citrus-Ginger Anti-Oxidant Body Lotion: Again, meh. It's a body lotion. I don't really want 2 lotions in one bag. :/ But it smells nice.

That's all for this month! If you're interested, here's my referal link. My favorite thing is probably the bronzer. If you have ipsy, what did you get this month? See you next time! XD

A Little Bit of MAC: A Mini Haul/Review

Hello everyone! I don't see a lot of reviews on MAC products. Why is that? I guess MAC is just one of those cult brands that everyone knows and tried. I've been trying to try some things from different brands lately and MAC is a brand I've never really explored.

MAC Blotting Pressed Powder in Light: In the summer, I get really oily. I mean, I'm oily every day but especially in the summer. This powder is very finely milled and it does keep my oil at bay. It's a nice powder, but I have to say I like my Too Faced Primed & Poreless powder better. It does the same thing and it makes my pores look smaller.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC15: This is probably the concealer with the most coverage that I've ever tried. My skin has been acting crazy lately and I have a lot of breakouts and I wanted a lot of coverage to hide all of the face lurkers. It doesn't settle weird like most concealers and it's just a great concealer so far.

The powder is too light for me right now since I've been self-tanning, but in the fall/winter this would be a perfect color. So overall, the concealer is a thumbs up, but the powder is meh. I'm going to try more things from MAC, but maybe not their face products for a while.

Let me know what I should try from MAC, maybe your favorite lipsticks? See you next time! XD

PRE-VACATION SUMMER HAUL!

Okay, I must say that this time, my shopping was justified. I'm going to Boston next week to visit my sister and I really needed some new clothes. I literally had no shorts in my closet because I have always been a little self-conscious about my legs until I started pilates. They are by no means where I want them to be but now I feel more comfortable. So yay for pilates!

Mossimo Workout Shorts-Target
Distressed Jean Shorts- Old Navy
Flowy High Waisted Shorts- Marshalls

I was dragged into some stores that I wouldn't usually go to recently. Old Navy is a place I've only been to about 3 times in my life but my sister wanted to get some cheap clothes and I actually found some cute pieces. They were having a lot of summer sales so I got all of my purchases for about $30 it total. And while shopping with friends, we went into Marshalls (another store that I've never been to) and these shorts were on sale for $11!

Black Tank Top- Old Navy
Gold Necklace- Old Navy

The tank top is boring, but I can style is many different ways. And I looooove edgy, gold statement necklaces.

Traditional Medicinals Organic Weightless Tea- Target
St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse- Ulta

This might be a little TMI but I get bloated really easily and this tea always help that. It just helps release water tension in your body that can build up as water weight. I hate the taste but love the results. I've tried other herbal teas that are supposed to do the same thing but this one works the best.

I needed a new self tanner, and I got a small size because I didn't want to spend a ton of money. What more so I have to say? :D

Bikini- Khol's

And, who can forget about a summer bikini? Sorry for all the TMI moments, but I like swim suites with a little support because it makes me really uncomfortable being out in public and not having something to hold them down, if you know what I mean. ;)

That's all, folks! I was surprised on what I could find in stores that I usually don't go into. Maybe I'll do it more often? Let me know what I should get for summer because I desperately need to build up my wardrobe.
