A Little Bit of MAC: A Mini Haul/Review

Hello everyone! I don't see a lot of reviews on MAC products. Why is that? I guess MAC is just one of those cult brands that everyone knows and tried. I've been trying to try some things from different brands lately and MAC is a brand I've never really explored.

MAC Blotting Pressed Powder in Light: In the summer, I get really oily. I mean, I'm oily every day but especially in the summer. This powder is very finely milled and it does keep my oil at bay. It's a nice powder, but I have to say I like my Too Faced Primed & Poreless powder better. It does the same thing and it makes my pores look smaller.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC15: This is probably the concealer with the most coverage that I've ever tried. My skin has been acting crazy lately and I have a lot of breakouts and I wanted a lot of coverage to hide all of the face lurkers. It doesn't settle weird like most concealers and it's just a great concealer so far.

The powder is too light for me right now since I've been self-tanning, but in the fall/winter this would be a perfect color. So overall, the concealer is a thumbs up, but the powder is meh. I'm going to try more things from MAC, but maybe not their face products for a while.

Let me know what I should try from MAC, maybe your favorite lipsticks? See you next time! XD

PRE-VACATION SUMMER HAUL!

Okay, I must say that this time, my shopping was justified. I'm going to Boston next week to visit my sister and I really needed some new clothes. I literally had no shorts in my closet because I have always been a little self-conscious about my legs until I started pilates. They are by no means where I want them to be but now I feel more comfortable. So yay for pilates!

Mossimo Workout Shorts-Target
Distressed Jean Shorts- Old Navy
Flowy High Waisted Shorts- Marshalls

I was dragged into some stores that I wouldn't usually go to recently. Old Navy is a place I've only been to about 3 times in my life but my sister wanted to get some cheap clothes and I actually found some cute pieces. They were having a lot of summer sales so I got all of my purchases for about $30 it total. And while shopping with friends, we went into Marshalls (another store that I've never been to) and these shorts were on sale for $11!

Black Tank Top- Old Navy
Gold Necklace- Old Navy

The tank top is boring, but I can style is many different ways. And I looooove edgy, gold statement necklaces.

Traditional Medicinals Organic Weightless Tea- Target
St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse- Ulta

This might be a little TMI but I get bloated really easily and this tea always help that. It just helps release water tension in your body that can build up as water weight. I hate the taste but love the results. I've tried other herbal teas that are supposed to do the same thing but this one works the best.

I needed a new self tanner, and I got a small size because I didn't want to spend a ton of money. What more so I have to say? :D

Bikini- Khol's

And, who can forget about a summer bikini? Sorry for all the TMI moments, but I like swim suites with a little support because it makes me really uncomfortable being out in public and not having something to hold them down, if you know what I mean. ;)

That's all, folks! I was surprised on what I could find in stores that I usually don't go into. Maybe I'll do it more often? Let me know what I should get for summer because I desperately need to build up my wardrobe.
