COLLECTIVE SRPING BREAK HAUL!

Hello everybody! It's currently spring break here and it finally feels like spring! After a frozen tundra of a winter, the snow has started to melt and the sun is out and it feels fantastic. I had a ton of family come over and we did some shopping because we have a tradition of going to the Mall of America. I picked up a few things here and there to celebrate the end of finals and let's be honest, I have no self control when it comes to makeup and cute clothes.

1. MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Sunny Seoul- I ordered this because I felt like if I bought a spring lipstick, then it would feel like spring. Not only is this such a pretty, bring coral color but I love the Cremesheen finish by MAC because I can wear it sheer, or build it up.
2. Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Black- I finally got my hands on this eyeliner after so many people raved about it. So far I've only swatched it and took pictures for a future product review.
3. Ardell Eyelashes in 110 & 135- What can I say? I wanted some lashes.
4. Sample Size of Smashbox Photo Ready Primer- I'm not going to say much about this because I might do a review.
5. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Wear Full Coverage Foundation- I haven't tried a foundation in about a year. I've only been using BB creams and this  foundation has gotten really good reviews.

1. Sonia Kashuk Small Blush Brush No. 123- For contouring.
2. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush- Works great for buffing in foundation.
3. Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray- I have really oily skin so hopefully this will help.
4. Sriracha Mug from Urban Outfitters- My sweet sister surprises me with coffee mugs occasionally and she hid this from me when we went to Urban Outfitters. They had a water bottle, too, but I'm glad she found the mug.
5. Floral Kimono from Deb- My sister got 2 tops, and so she got to get one thing free but she didn't know that until she got to the register. So I got to run back and get this because I originally put it back. I wasn't so sure I was going to get it but we got it for free! Yay!
8. Champion Sneakers- I needed some new work out gear so I can get ready for booty shorts. So far it's working, maybe in a month or so I'll do a post about it. I just need some time to see what works and what doesn't.

And lastly, I bought two candles from Bath & Body Works because they were having a sale for 2 for $22. Quite honestly, I was going to get Tokyo Petals for the name, but it really does smell amazing and I love anything that smells like cherry blossoms. The ladies in the store all said that it was amazing and it's a best seller. Beach Cabana is also something that I would go for because I love beachy scents.

So, there's all the things. I bought! I hope you guys liked it. See you next time! XD

Product Review: NYX Shine Killer

Hey cuties! Sorry I've been gone for a while. I recently changed my web address and lost all of my followers. That discouraged me from blogging so I took a little break and focused on other things. But I emailed the Bloglovin staff and they helped me get my followers back! Yay! So I'm back to stay.

I have really oily skin and I'm always looking for something that will help, especially if it's inexpensive. This product can be used under or over foundation, and if you have perfect skin (I'm jealous) you can use this alone. I use this under my BB cream because I ran out of my makeup primer.

It comes out in a clear gel. It does feel different than a regular face primer, but it doesn't feel greasy or heavy on my skin. Since it's clear, it will suit all skin tones.

I don't like to do negative reviews, but I do like to be honest with you guys. This did not work for me at all. My skin is still oily, there was hardly any improvement in my skin.

Pros
-Suitable for all skin tones
-Not greasy

Cons
-Doesn't work

Overall, not going to get this again, and I would not recommend. You never know, what doesn't work for me might work wonders for someone else. There's nothing else I can say about this product other than it didn't work. The search for a good oil controlling product continues!

That's it for this review! I'll try to be a better blogger from now on! I'm thinking about pulling all of my fall favorites into one post. What do you guys think? Let me know! See you next time! XD

Product Review: Etude House Goodbye Pore Ever Essence

Hello everyone! If you saw my Etude House Haul, then you've already know that I got their primer from the Wonder Prore line. I think a good primer is so important to making the right makeup look. When I don't use one, my skin looks bumpy and gross. So a good primer is a staple product in my collection.

First of all, let's just take a moment to appreciate how adorable the packaging is. Korean brands noticeably take more time into making pretty packaging, and let me tell you, it works. My wishlist is endlessly growing because they just catch my eye more than American brands.

As you can see, it's a light skin tone color, but it doesn't offer any coverage or anything like that. The texture is pretty dense as primers go but it's not heavy. It can be hard to spread but since I like to dab on products in little dots all over my face, it's not a problem for me.

I know it may be a little hard to tell, but this primer shrinked the small wrinkles on my hand by a significant about. It does that same thing with my giant pores. It just makes my skin look more fresh, clean, and healthy. Having oily skin makes my face feel dirty all the time so feeling clean is very important to me.

The lasting time is pretty remarkable in my experience  My skin stays smooth from the time I put it on (about 6:30 am)  to the time that I check my makeup after school (about 3:30 pm). I'm not sure if this is the same for everyone, it's just what I've noticed.

Pros
-Cute packaging
-Lasts 8+ hours
-Not heavy
-Drastically reduces size of pores

Cons
-Hard to spread over skin
-Not available in the US

Overall, I think this is an amazing product. I will most likely repurchase this when I run out. Definitely great for the warm weather that has yet to come (there's still a bit of snow here). Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be nice out this weekend!
