Fall Outfits On Repeat!

Hello everyone! Yay! I have a fashion post! I don't do them often, usually I just show you what I butlothing wise in a haul. But I'm trying to do different things with my blog lately and this is what I came up with! I don't have a way to take pictures of me in the clothes right now because I didn't have someone to take them for me. Plus, I hate awkward posing, you guys already know this. ;P I have a few options just in case you want something cute, comfy, or edgy. Usually I like to rock all of them, it just depends on how I feel that day, haha.

Cardigan- Target
Tank Top- Charlotte Russe
Skirt- Pacsun
Booties- Target
Necklace- H&M

This is the outfit I wear when I want to look girly, which isn't often but I still get those days where I just want to wear a skirt and prance around. Sometimes if I don't feel like wearing pink, I'll go for a deep purple cardigan so it's not as girly, but still cute.

Sweater- Khols
Jeans- Khols
Booties- Shoe Department
Necklace- H&M

It's not fall without sweaters. This one is fun because it is oversized on me and it has a big hood. Plus, the sleeves get really long and I can pull them over my hands when they get cold. I almost always up my jeans when wearing ankle boots, I don't know why. It just looks more flattering.

Leather Jacket- Target
Tank Top- Charlotte Russe
Jeans- H&M
Nude Heels- Target
Scarf- Pacsun

Leather jackets are a staple that I am obsessed with. I want every leather jacket I see, but they are usually really expensive. I wanted the nude heels because it makes the legs look longer and the pink scarf softens up the look a bit.

Let me know if you are interested in more fashion posts! Or what kind of format you would like them in. See you next time! XD

Catch 'Em All: Revlon Lip Butters

Hey cuties! Last week was crazy! I didn't even get to update even when I had this post photographed and ready to go. But anyway! I'm here to talk about the insane about of Revlon Lip Butters I've collected over the years. They were my first lipsticks I owned and I still use the crap out of them on a daily basis. I know that some people think that these aren't all that great, but I personally really like them. Obviously, if I bought 8 of them.

Here's my entire collection. I tried to do an artsy photo but it didn't really work out. I'm trying to get better, you guys!

The packaging on Berry Smoothie shattered! It fell of the floor and it broke somehow. Oh well, it still works. It's just not pretty anymore. :(

Candy Apple: This is such a fun red shade! It's more of a summer red but it is just bright and easy to work with.
Tutti Frutti: A bright, bright orange color. It's a staple for a lot of people, especially if you're like me and love oranges.
Juicy Papaya: Okay, this shade is probably one of my favorite lipsticks of all time. If I had to have only one shade for the spring/summer time, this would be it.
Peach Parfait: This is my second tube of this shade. That's right, I used up a whole lipstick and this one is on it's way out, too. It's the perfect everyday color for me.
Strawberry Shortcake: I don't wear this shade that often because I haven't been into bright pink lipstick, but this is a pretty shade and I should wear it more.
Sugar Plum: A great fall color. It's a sheer, deep purple color. I like to wear this on days when I want to wear a dark lip bit don't want to touch it up all day.
Pink Truffle: I'm iffy about this shade because it is pretty, but it's kind of mature on me. It's just a browny nude that would make you look sophisticated. But if you have a deeper skin, this would be gorgeous.
Berry Smoothie: Again, if you have a deeper skin tone than me, this is soo pretty! I mean, it's good on fair skin, too, I just love the way it lookes on deeper skin. I have this to one of my friends for Christmas and she looks great with it.

That's all of them! I think the lip butters are great, but I think my collection is complete for now. I have all of the shades I could possibly need and I want to try other lip products. Let me know what I should try next! See you next time! XD

Product Review: Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse

Hey cuties! So I was in randomly in Ulta one day and this weird thing happened. Somehow, products just found their way into my hands and before I knew it I was at the cash register, handing over my money. Who am I kidding? I've been wanting to try this Tarte Brow Mousse since it came out. I finally got my grubby little fingers on it and now I'm doing a review! That's how it works, right?

First of all, I love how this comes with a double-ended brow brush. It's really good quality and you don't have to buy it separately. The actual product comes in a little pot with the iconic Amazonian clay logo. Also, Tarte is one of those brands that is very naturally-derived and cruelty free. So no bunnies were harmed in the making of this product!

When I first tried this, I was really impressed by the look it gave me because it was really easy to get the shape that I like. I think that's partly due to how this the brush is so it gives precise lines. The product is creamy enough to blend but dry enough that it's not going to make your eyebrows look or feel wet. If you're like me and you need to reconstruct your brows from nothing, this will probably work out well for you because you can build it up without looking like it's too much. A little goes a long way so I have a feeling it'll last me a really long time.

Okay, now for my favorite part. It lasts so long! I mean, I put this on at 6 am, go to school, go to work, run some last minute errands, get home around 9 pm, and my brows are still there. I love my Anastazia Brow Wiz, but it didn't last that long.

Okay, I'm still iffy about the color. I got the shade Taupe, which is supposed to be cool toned, but this is really red. I don't like red in my brows. It still works for me, but I was pretty disappointed. Eh, maybe I'll get over it, maybe I won't. But that is something to be aware of if you get the Taupe shade.

Oh, what? A picture of myself? This doesn't happen often, but I endured the awkward posing for you guys. But you can see how it looks on me. ;D

So what do you guys think? Yay or nay? Do you like warm or cool toned brows? I love warm tones, but it's a different story when it comes to my brows. See you next time! XD

September Ipsy 2014!

Hello everyone! I have another Ipsy post for you guys! If you don't know what Ipsy is, it's a $10 substion service that sends you personalized sample bags with 4-5 products. Sometimes they even include full sized items and it almost always exceeds the amount that you paid.

This month's theme was based off of Fashion Week. I like how edgy this bag looks because I'm in love with edgy fashion.

1. Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser: When I saw that I was getting this, I was kind if disappointed because I've gotten cleanser samples before and I was just getting bored of them, but this is a really good size cleanser! This can last me a couple weeks. And sometimes I run out of cleanser and I just don't want to go to the store and spend my money on boring things like cleanser (and deodorant, I hate buying deodorant). Plus, my skin gets dry in the colder months so maybe this will help.
2. Caviar CC Complete Correction Leave In Conditioner: I tried this today but I wasn't thrilled by it. So, meh. Good size, though. It's supposed to have 10 different functions that is supposed to change your hair drastically, but doesn't every hair product say that? I couldn't tell a difference.
3. Hikari Lipstick in Cabernet: I saw this in the sneak peak on Ipsy's Facebook and intantly wanted it. It's a lipstick, a beautiful red color, and the brand sounded Japanese. What more could I need? And I'm pretty sure this is full sized. So good job Ipsy!
4. Crown Brush Dual Ended Eyeshadow Brush: I don't have a lot of brushes, so I'm glad to get this! It's pretty soft and it looks like a good size for my eyeshape.
5. Pacifica Eyeliner in Gun Metal: I like this pencil, but I'm not sure that I will wear a grey eyeliner. It's nice, but I don't know. Maybe I can pass this down to someone, or maybe I'll use it more than I think? We'll find out.

So that's all I have for today! Let me know if you guys still want Ipsy posts. Or maybe some other different kinds of posts? See you next time! XD

Battle of the BB Creams!

Hello everyone! There are some products that I'm always interested in trying, and one of them is BB cream. While looking through my collection, I noticed that I had 5 different BB cream! Do I need 5 open at one time? No, but I'm addicted to makeup and I have a problem. But since I have so many, I thought I would round them up and talk about them!

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream No. 21- This is probably the most basic BB cream out of my collection. This would probably suit all skin types and they have the best color selection. It doesn't accent dry patches and the oil control is decent, but nothing amazingly fantastic. The finish is more on the satin/dewy side, somewhere in between there. It does have a stong scent to it so if you're skin doesn't handle scents, then skip this one. The only down sides are that it comes out a little grey and it just doesn't stand out in my collection. I like it and I use it, but nothing life changing.

Étude House Preecious Mineral BB Cream W13- If you have dry skin or that dewy-skinned look, then this is the one for you. I really like this one in the summer because it gives a glowing from within look. The oil control isn't the greatest but with blotting sheets, it holds up pretty well. It's hydrating and blends into the skin nicely that looks very natural. The color selection isn't great (they have 4 shades) but it's better than one shade like some brands.

Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB Cream No. 1- You guys, I'm obsessed with this BB cream. This is a water-based, jelly like BB cream that literally feels like you have nothing on your skin. It's lighter coverage but you can do two layers if you need it without getting cakey. It holds up on my oily skin pretty well throughout the day. I just love it. Out of all of these, this is definitely my favorite. But, it only comes in two shades and the packaging is not so great for traveling.

Holika Holika Petit Tea Tree Clearing BB Cream- This is a close #2 behind the Aqua Petit. What I love about this is the oil control, it's great! It only comes in one shade. :( But if the color works for you and you're oily, then definitely get this! It's cheap, has light-medium coverage, and it has tea tree oil to add in some skin care benefits.

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream Light/Medium- This is the only Western BB cream I own, mostly because they suck. (Sorry, but it's true). This BB cream is very light coverage but it feels very light on the skin and this particular one has salysilic acid to help clear breakouts. I feel like it does something to help my skin instead of just moisturize. It's nothing like my Asian BB creams but it still is a good base to have on more natural days or when your skin is having some trouble. Just add some concealer and you'll be just fine!

The reason why I have a lot of different shades is because I use them throughout the year and some are my summer BB creams and some are for winter/fall. Just in case you were wondering. ;D But Holika Holika BB creams are where it's at! In my opinion, anyway. Let me know what your HG BB cream is so I can try it out! See you next time! XD

Product Review: Glamglow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment

Hello everyone! I got a couple requests to do a review on this sample that I got it my Ipsy bag because this is a super hyped and expensive face mask! I mean, $69 a pop kind of expensive. I don't know about you, but if I'm shelling out that kind of money, I want to make sure that it's going to work miracles for my skin.

Yay! Awkward face mask pictures! Sorry for the poor quality in the photos, my camera was not working with me.

First of all, I noticed that this has bits of what looks like tea leaves in it. Sometimes they fall off when you're trying to apply it only your skin or it just sticks on until you wash it off. I don't know what they're supposed to do but my guess is to help exfoliate. But other than that it applies pretty smoothly and it's easy to get a thin layer all over your skin.

While you wait 10 minutes for the mask to dry, you do feel a slight tingling sensation. It's not painful or anything, I find it refreshing, but that's just me. It will harden and make your skin feel very tight like most clay masks. Sometimes you can actually see the dirt and gunk that was in your pores. Like on my nose in the picture, you can see the tiny spots. Yeah, that's dirt. Gross, I know, but you guys asked for it!

Since this is an exfoliant, you want to use circular motions while you wash this off. When it gets wet, it turns into a scrub that leaves your skin very soft. Right away, I could see that my pores were smaller and my skin was smoother. It removed the dead skin and make my skin feel very clean. If you skin is sensitive to exfoliants, then I don't think this is going to work for you because it's very gentle. My skin can handle more abrasive exfoliants so it's not a problem for me, but for others it can.

Is it worth $69? Um, yes and no. I think that other clay masks and exfoliates can get the job done, but not as well. If you have the cash to spen on it then by all means try it out. But if you're a student like me, you might want to save it for when you have a gift card to Sephora. . . or two. I do really like it and I want more of it, but I think I'll just keep trying to get samples of it.

What do you guys think? Let me know if you've tried this mask before. See you next time! XD

Product Review: Maybelline The Nudes Palette

Hey cuties! So I just got back from a very busy week so if I haven't been updating as much as I would like to. But, I have a fun review today! It's the first big eyeshadow palette I've seen come out of the drugstore. Why hasn't anyone done this before?! I feel like I always lust after palette but then cringe at the price tag because most of them are high end. Maybelline is selling this for about $9.99 at Target so it's very affordable. Yay!

First thing, I don't like the packaging. In the store, I saw that some shadows were shattered so that made me think that it's not sturdy at all. So be careful to not drop it and check out the shadows before buying. Plus, there is no mirror. And with a palette this size, there is more than enough room for a mirror. So overall cheap packaging.

Okay, onto the possitive! The shadows are places in where they can be used as duos, trios, or quads. And they include diagrams on where to place the shadows and looks you can follow. I love how much thought was put into the colors and the placement to make it easie for the user. If you are a beginner or know someone who is, this is perfect because you can learn what kind of shadows go where and are given some direction.

In my opinion, the shadows work best as quads, and that is how I swatches them. I just found that the colors worked best this way.

As you can see, some shadows are better than others. I loooove the second "quad" because of the golden/bronze colors, but the third is a total dud. I would say that the shimmery colors gave off more color than the matte. The texture is okay, more on the hard side, I'm not blown away but they're not terrible. These are the kind of shadows that really benefit with the help of a primer because they just need something to stick to. Afterwards they were great shadows to wear on an everyday basis and you can get so many looks out of it. I would recommend this if you're a beginner or if you want more neutral eye shadows (a girl can never have enough ;D). But just keep in mind to use a good primer.

See you next time! XD
